LEED v4 & Federal Projects

Elizabeth Baldwin Headshot

This week, I’m pretty much just going to redirect you to some other reading, a blog summarizing the announcement that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is “requesting not only technical feedback about government use of LEED v4 credits but also procedural suggestions about how government agencies should choose green building rating systems in the future.” The post I’ve linked to above summarizes the issue very nicely, or if you like, go directly to the GSA site that provides directions on how to submit comments here

Please note that this is a comprehensive opportunity for comments.

Please note that this is a comprehensive opportunity for comments: The GSA “is requesting not only technical feedback about government use of LEED v4 credits but also procedural suggestions about how government agencies should choose green building rating systems in the future.”

If you are not a typist and want to provide interactive verbal feedback directly, the GSA is hosting an online discussion webinar—details are available here

So if you want to have a say in how the U.S. government defines green building generally as well as how they should respond to LEED v4 specifically, submit your ideas before March 23.
