Anderson Hardwood Floors Merges With Tuftex Carpets

Anderson Hardwood Floors (Dalton, Ga.) will merge with Tuftex Carpets of California (Santa Fe Springs, Calif.) to become Anderson Tuftex, effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Anderson Tuftex, owned by Shaw Industries Inc. (Dalton, Ga.), combines two companies with a “prestigious heritage” in the flooring industry to create premium flooring products and provide exceptional service to the premium flooring market, a statement from the brand read.

“We’re committed to elevating the discussion with our customers and providing them with a beautiful product mix that they’re eager to sell,” said Trey Thames, vice president of sales for Anderson Tuftex, in a statement. “By offering bold, yet timeless patterns and foundational colors in both hard and soft surface flooring products, we’re empowering our customers to create a seamless shopping experience for consumers.”

The brand will be showcased at Shaw Connect 2018 and will be unveiled to the entire floor covering industry at The International Surface Event in Las Vegas.
