B.R. Funsten and Tom Duffy Company have rebranded as “Tom Duffy Company,” consolidating both brands under one name.
The consolidation includes an updated logo for the company, which notes that it is “a B.R. Funsten Company” beneath the Tom Duffy umbrella. The Funsten family remains in charge of day-to-day operations and long-term planning for the company.
“A unified company structure allows us to tighten up our operational, warehousing and trucking efficiencies, helps to fast-track our plans for digital transformation and promotes a collaborative company culture,” stated Tom Duffy Company President Anne Funsten.
The “Tom Duffy Company” name is also on all the buildings of its 29 locations and is how the company is most identified by customers in California, Nevada and Arizona, Funsten added.
The B.R. Funsten Company was founded in 1957 by Anne Funsten’s grandfather, Benjamin Reed Funsten. The Tom Duffy Company was acquired by B.R. Funsten in the 1990s.
