Galleher (Santa Fe Springs, Calif.) announced the acquisition of West Valley Hardwood Floor Distributors, a leading distributor of hardwood flooring and installation supplies throughout Washington and Oregon.
“This acquisition will allow our team to meet the expanded needs of our customers across six Western states,” Galleher President and CEO Ted Kozikowski said in a statement.
West Valley Hardwood was founded in 2000 by Fred Ahrens. West Valley Hardwood’s headquarters in Fife, Wash., will become the hub for Galleher’s Pacific Northwest operations, coordinating inventory and services with Galleher’s Northern California operation in San Jose.
“After nearly 21 years of servicing our flooring customers, the time is right for West Valley Hardwood to join an organization with the type of resources Galleher provides,” Ahrens said in a statement. “Galleher is the perfect home for the West Valley Hardwood employees and customers.”
