Fishman Flooring Solutions (Baltimore, Md.) launched a full-service branch in Birmingham, Ala.
The 13,000-square-foot facility serves residential and commercial flooring installation contractors in the greater Birmingham, Huntsville and Montgomery, Ala., markets. It is Fishman’s 38th branch.
“We’ve now done our due diligence and are convinced that there is a significant need for a full-service distributor of flooring and flooring installation products in Alabama,” President and CEO Bob Wagner said in a statement. “Our intent is to fill that need with our Birmingham location.”
The new branch is managed by Josh Buchanan, who has extensive experience in sales, marketing and branch operations. Fishman also appointed Lisa Hyche as territory manager for Alabama. Hyche has nearly 30 years of experience in the Alabama flooring marketplace.
