Al Lewis, owner of Long Floor Distributing LLC (Richmond, Va.) has retired after 60 years of service. Lewis started with Long Floor in 1947 as one of three employees.
Vecoplan LLC (High Point, N.C.), a manufacturer of wood grinders and chippers, has promoted Mike Wilhoit to vice president of operations from his position as operations manager. The company has also appointed Todd Carswell vice president of technical services.
