During the Awards Dinner at the NWFA Convention April 27, the 2011 NWFA Wood Floor of the Year winners were announced; Precision Floorcrafters (Summerfield, Fla.) led the way this year by winning the Limited Species award as well as the coveted Members' Choice award. NWFA members voted to determine the winners of this year's Wood Floor of the Year awards, except for the Designer's Choice, which is voted on by a panel of interior designers. Nine awards and two honorable mentions were presented:
Best Residential: Fine Cut Wood Flooring (Derry, N.H.)
Best Residential (Honorable Mention): Inex Floors (Richboro, Pa.)
Best Residential (Honorable Mention): H&M Flooring (Chicago)
Best CNC/Laser Cut: Yantarnaya Pryad-Parquet (Khimki, Russia)
Best Commercial: Archetypal Imaginary Remodeling (Long Island City, N.Y.)
Best Manufacturer Factory Finished: Jamie Beckwith Collection (Nashville, Tenn.)
Best Restoration: Inex Floors
Best Reclaimed: H&M Flooring
Designer's Choice: First Coast Flooring Inc. (Jacksonville, Fla.)
Best Limited Species & Members' Choice: Precision Floorcrafters (Summerfield, Fla.)
