Lumber Liquidators Officially Launches Operations in Canada

Lumber Liquidators CEO Jeffrey Griffiths appeared on Canada's Business News Network on May 19 to officially launch his company's Canadian operations. The Toano, Va.-based discount flooring retailer will focus on expanding within Canada's Ottawa-Windsor corridor. Griffiths told BNN that the housing market has held up better in Canada than the U.S., and that at 22-23 percent, hardwood has been a bigger percentage of flooring sales in Canada.
