HF Briefs: Packard Founder Dies; NAW e-Book

Howard Packard, the founder of Packard Flooring Supply Company (Farmingdale, N.Y.) passed away on July 26, 2011, at the age of 90; the company says he will be dearly missed.

The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) Institute for Distribution Excellence's book Taking Charge of Distribution Sales: 9 Proven Skills to Lead and Manage Your Sales Team is now available as a Kindle Edition from Amazon.com and as a NOOK Book from Barnes&Noble.com; the softcover version is available from the NAW Institute.
