Finish Company RPM Acquires Fuhr Industrial

RPM Wood Finishes Group (Hickory, N.C.), a manufacturer of wood coatings and touch-up and repair products, has acquired Fuhr Industrial (Mansfield, Texas), a provider of waterborne wood coating products and technologies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Fuhr will be part of RPM's CCI business unit; RPM's other units include Mohawk Finishing Products and Guardian Protection Products. The companies' products include site-applied wood flooring finishes and OEM factory-applied materials. "Combined with the field expertise of CCI, Fuhr is now able to further reach and fulfill the needs of wood flooring manufacturers throughout North America," said Ronnie Holman, president of RPM.
