Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers Inc. (AHMI), the Hardwood Manufacturers Association and the Appalachian Lumbermen's Club will hold joint meetings Oct. 9-11 at the Crowne Plaza in Asheville, N.C. The meetings will provide group members with the opportunity to network and tour facilities.
Facility tours will include:
- Columbia Forest Products' plywood and veneer plant in Old Fort, N.C.
- Oak Valley Hardwoods' sawmill and distribution yard in Marion, N.C.
- Gilkey Lumber Co. in Rutherfordton, N.C.
- T & S Hardwoods in Sylva, N.C.
- Oaks Unlimited in Waynesville, N.C.
