Dirk Bremm Named Head of BASF Construction Chemicals Americas

BASF Construction Chemicals Americas (Beachwood, Ohio) has named Dirk Bremm senior vice president of Construction Chemicals Americas. He will be located in the Construction Chemicals North American headquarters in Beachwood, Ohio. He succeeds John Salvatore, who led the company for the last 12 years and retired at the end of 2012.

Bremm will be responsible for leading BASF's Construction Chemicals business in North and South America. A 13-year BASF veteran, he has held various sales, marketing and leadership positions in Germany, South Africa and Mexico. Most recently, he was senior vice president for BASF's Construction Chemicals European retail business. He holds a degree in Business Management from Handelshochschule (HHL) Leipzig, Germany.
