Armstrong Floor Products N.A. (Lancaster, Pa.) will add a third shift and 108 employees to its plant in Warren, Ark., citing increasing demand for its hardwood flooring products. The plant produces ¾-inch prefinished flooring.
The plant, which Armstrong acquired when it purchased Triangle Pacific in 1998, currently employs 240 people. The new shift is expected to be added by May.
"We'd also like to note that we are able to bring these jobs to the community and the Warren facility because of our employees' outstanding performance in building a very efficient operation," the company said in a statement to Arkansas Business. "We commend their commitment, and thank them for their hard work."
