Cindy Squires is now executive vice president of the International Wood Products Association. Brent McClendon, former executive vice president of IWPA, was recently named resident and CEO of the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association.
Squires was most recently the National Marine Manufacturers Association's chief counsel for public affairs and director of regulatory affairs, Squires will be responsible for increasing membership and promoting the value, sustainability and beauty of wood products to the market.
Before Squires began working with the NMMA, she practiced environmental and administrative law, worked as a staffer at the United States Department of Agriculture and on the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.
