Basic Coatings held a "Back to Basics" sand and finish school on March 5-7 at the company's headquarters and training facility in Toledo, Ohio. Brett Miller, NWFA's director of certification and education, led the school, assisted by Basic Coatings team members Mark Vick, director of sales, and Bryan Day, regional manager. Students were trained on proper operating procedures and correct sanding and coating sequence. Each attendee sanded and coated a wood floor as part of the course.
