The rule, which includes products not covered by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), requires certification and close monitoring of manufacturers of plywood and plywood-based products (engineered flooring, bamboo flooring, cabinets, etc.) or the use of No Added Formaldehyde (NAF) resins.
OSU has asked that companies wishing to participate pre-register by emailing Chris Knowles at [email protected]. Sixty slots have been reserved for National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) members. The link for the webinar is https://oregonstate.adobeconnect.com/epa/. In order to join the meeting, select "Enter as a Guest," type your name and click "Enter Room."
The webinar will be recorded and made available on the NWFA website.
The EPA will take comments on the proposed rule until August 9.
