Hassell & Hughes Lumber Co.'s Robert "Bob" Haggard Dies at 52

Robert Haggard, vice president of Hassell and Hughes Lumber Company Inc. in Collinwood, Tenn., passed away Tuesday at the age of 52. Haggard served as a board director for both the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) and the National Oak Flooring Manufacturers Association (NOFMA).

"Bob Haggard was a great friend to many in this industry," said Tommy Maxwell, president of Maxwell Hardwood Flooring and NWFA treasurer. "He will be remembered as a very positive influence to everyone he came in contact with. As president of NOFMA, he was instrumental in the merger of NWFA/NOFMA and thereby strengthening our industry and its future development. He will be sorely missed."

Funeral services will take place Friday, June 28 at 2 p.m. at the Waynesboro Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tenn. More information about visitation and memorials is available here.
