Forest certifier PEFC International has issued a call for nominations for its Chain of Custody and Labelling Working Group, which is tasked with the further development and maintenance of PEFC's International Chain of Custody Standard and the associated labeling requirements. The University of Michigan was the recipient of the Mark Reimers Cleaning for Health award at the Simon Institute Symposium in July; Reimers worked at ProTeam from 1987 until his retirement in 2009, and the award recognizes an organization dedicated to excellence and health in their cleaning program.
