Lumber Liquidators Inc. (Toano, Va.) has begun construction of a new 1 million-square-foot distribution center in Henrico County, Va., and is leasing a new distribution center in Pomona, Calif.
The new facility in Virginia will take the place of the 750,000 square feet of distribution space the company is currently leasing in Hampton, Va., the leases on which are set to expire before the end of 2014.
The 500,000 square foot facility in Pomona, Calif., is expected to begin operation by November 2013 with full implementation by the first quarter of 2014.
