On Oct. 1, the National Wood Flooring Association will open online registration and housing for the 2013 NWFA Wood Flooring Expo in Nashville, Tenn., to be held April 16-19. On the same date, the association will send the pre-convention expo guide to the printer, so for maximum publicity, companies interested in reserving a booth are advised to do so prior to Oct. 1 to be included in the brochure.
Because the trade show floor sold out in 2012 and 2013, the association has increased the available space for 2014 by 20 percent. The expo's larger trade-show floor is already more than 50 percent sold.
New plans for the 2014 Wood Flooring Expo will include:
- Education sessions featuring new, in-depth education opportunities for all industry professionals
- A Cyber Café Lounge sponsored by Hardwood Floors, where attendees can locate exhibitors on the show floor, access the Internet, charge their phones and tablets, message other attendees, and more
- A pub crawl through Honky Tonk Row
- A high-profile Wood Floor of the Year awards dinner with celebrity concert entertainment
- A Community Service Day to benefit war veterans through Operation Finally Home.
