McMinnville Manufacturing Company (McMinnville, Tenn.) has earned the National Wood Flooring Association/North American Oak Flooring Manufacturers Association Mill Certification. McMinnville is the 18th active company currently in the NWFA/NOFMA certification program.
"The addition of McMinnville to the roster of NWFA/NOFMA certified mills demonstrates the growing demand for manufacturers to distinguish themselves as producers of quality hardwood flooring products and to have a third-party certification that demonstrates industry standards," said NWFA President & CEO, Michael Martin.
Established in the late 1800s, McMinnville Manufacturing Co. is one of the country's oldest manufacturers and ranks in the top one-third in terms of hardwood flooring sales and production.
The NWFA/NOFMA certification provides an assurance that the manufacturer's wood flooring meets or exceeds the industry standards for grade, configuration, moisture content, and average board length. Certified mills are inspected a minimum of two times per year to ensure consistent grade standards are met.
