This is the second fire caused by wood flooring work in the news in recent months. In August, a high school gym in a Milwaukee suburb suffered several hundred thousands of dollars of damage when the wood floor installers improperly stored oily rags. The rags combusted, destroying the recently installed wood gym floor and causing a large amount of smoke damage.
