NWFA Weeklong Workshops Visit Los Angeles

The National Wood Flooring Association's traveling Weeklong Workshops stopped in Los Angeles Sept. 23-28 for a series of six one-day wood flooring workshops. Students could choose to attend one or all of the following daylong workshops: Moisture Identification/Mitigation, Subfloor Preparation, Intermediate Installation, Intermediate Sand & Finish, Factory Finish Repair & Recoat and Field Equipment Repair.

On Wednesday, Virginia Hardwood Company sponsored the Networking Open House, a free opportunity for students as well as local distributors and retailers to talk with manufacturers representatives about a variety of products.

Brett Miller, NWFA's director of certification and education, and Jason Elquest, NWFA's regional instructor and owner of Blackhawk Floors, led instruction with the help of the following instructors:
