MAPEI Launches Mobile App

Mapei MAPEI Corp. (Deerfield Beach Fla.) has launched a free app for Apple and Android smartphones and tablets. Users can find and email product information including product listings, Technical Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets and ancillary data directly from the app.

The locator tool allows contractors to find nearby distributors and retailers carrying the products they need.

"What we offer customers with our MAPEI app is a quick, easy, convenient way to stay in touch with the most up-to-date information on all available products," Steven Day, operational marketing manager for MAPEI, said in a statement. "The information on the app is connected to our core database; whenever an update is made, it immediately appears on the MAPEI app."

U.S. households earning $75,000 a year can afford only 21.2% of home listings as of March 2025—up from 20.8% in March 2024 and the largest gain of any income group, according to the National Association of Realtors.
