The Hardwood Lumber and Hardwood Plywood Research Promotion Program, also referred to as the Hardwood Check-off, has been posted on the Federal Register for public comment.
The government-organized program, much like the dairy industry's Got Milk campaign, will take a portion of the entire hardwood products industry's sales to promote the use of hardwood.
