Magna Hardwood Floors will host an Advanced Sand & Finish School on March 11-14 in Calgary, Alberta. The school's focus will be on the use of European oil and UV-cured finish, and Sand & Finish certification will be offered by the NWFA. The school will be conducted in an actual 2,500-square-foot home with real conditions, and instructors will be Kjell Nymark (Precision Hardwood Floors Services), Wayne Lee (Middle Tennessee Lumber) and Mark Mukosiej (Arboritec). Registration is $550, plus an additional fee of $175 to cover the online and hand-on testing. The written portion of the certification must be completed before the end of February.
