MAPEI Americas Debuts New 'World' Logo

MAPEI (Deerfield Beach, Fla.) a developer and manufacturer of adhesives, chemicals and products for the building industry, recently rebooted its brand with a new logo. MAPEI's "World" image will be used by MAPEI Americas for all forms of communication, including printed publications, advertising, billboards, posters, flyers, event banners, promotional giveaways, websites and presentations. The image, interpreted and created by renowned illustrator Carlo Stanga, features graphical references to MAPEI's 15 global product lines (including wood flooring) and such landmark structures showcasing MAPEI products as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City, Louvre Museum in Paris, France and The Kremlin, Moscow, Russia.

"There was plenty of discussion within the company about the best means of communication to make the general public fully aware of MAPEI's great potential; opting for such an apparently non-technical means of communication was a very important step forward," Adriana Spazzoli, director of marketing and communications for MAPEI Group, said in a statement. "We wanted to break free from the kind of technical style of communication that had always characterized our company."
