With his Primatech P250 ALR in one hand, mallet in the other and 18 square feet of Aacer strip red oak select by his boots, Robert O'Connell completed the chore in 2:35, again earning him the title of "Fastest Nailer in the East."
O'Connell has never lost the event, now in its fourth year at host's Philadelphia Floor Store's Conshohocken showroom. His time this year bested his old record of 2:52.
The daylong event, which culminates with the nailing contest, also features special pricing, giveaways and a chance to win hardwood flooring tools and equipment.
