Three lucky attendees at the National Wood Flooring Association's 2014 Wood Flooring Expo in Nashville, Tenn., this April were able to "Strike a Cord"-or, as the case may now be, a "chord"-even after they returned home.
Pam Tillis, Grammy-award-winning country music singer and daughter of country stars Mel and Doris Tillis, took time during the middle of her song "Cleopatra, Queen of Denial" during the Expo awards night to give away three signed acoustic guitars.

Mike McDermott, John Alford and Mike Urban, on behalf of Jeff Pope, all took one of the instruments home. But not before Tillis made them work (read: dance in Cleopatra style) for them in front of the huge crowd assembled. The guitars were sponsored by Middle Tennessee Lumber, WD Flooring and Norton Abrasives/Saint Gobin.
Kim Holm lucked out as well, taking home an all-expenses paid VIP trip to the Country Music Awards as part of the NWFA's Education & Research Foundation campaign.
Other prizes given away during the Expo included Beats by Dre headphones and Bose Stereo Systems, among many others.
