Only Four NWFA Training Schools Left in 2014

The NWFA will host four more training schools before the end of the year.

Floors Northwest Inc. will host Installation and Sand/Finish certification training and testing Oct. 15–17 at its Minneapolis-based headquarters. The instructors are NWFA Regional Instructor Roy Reichow, Reichow Parquet Flooring Inc.; Galen Fitzel, 3M; and Tim Nathan, General Finishes.

Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Ga., will host an Intermediate Installation school Oct. 28–31 with NWFA Regional Instructor Daniel Boone, Daniel Boone WFT Inc., as lead instructor.

E.J. Welch Company (Earth City, Mo.) will host a five-day training school Nov. 3–7 at its Chicago location. Workshops include Problem, Causes and Cures; Machine Maintenance and Wood Floor Repairs. NWFACP Certification and Lead Renovator certification is also available. NWFA Regional Instructor Mike Dittmer, Michael Dittmer Wood Floors, will serve as lead instructor.

Finally, the NWFA will host five days of inspector workshops at its Chesterfield, Mo., location Nov. 10–14. Topics covered are Moisture Testing, Environmental Effects on Wood Flooring, Report Writing, Legal Responsibilities of the Inspector, and Real World Inspection Scenario. Instructors for the school are Barbara Dunn; Chris Zizza, C&R Flooring Inc.; Cathy Duncan, EZ Report Writing; Charles Peterson, Charles Peterson Wood Flooring; Jon Namba, Namba Services Inc.; Tim Moore, Fortifiber; Jason Spangler, Wagner Meters; Grete Heimerdinger, Lignomat; Paul Laurenzi, Delmhorst; and Andrew Rynhart, Tramex.
