NWFA Workshops, Certification Testing Held at E.J. Welch Co.

Img 4347 HedThe Img 4341E.J. Welch Company (Earth City, Mo.) hosted NWFA workshops and an NWFA Certified Professionals certification testing at its branch in Elk Grove Village, Ill., Nov. 3–5.

Three workshops were held: Problems, Causes & Cures; Wood Floor Repairs; and Machine Maintenance. NWFACP testing and an Environmental Protection Agency Lead Safe Renovators Course were held Nov. 6 and Nov. 7.

The workshops were led by NWFA Regional Instructor Michael Dittmer of Michael Dittmer Wood Floors. Also instructing were Tim Nathan of General Finishes and Tony Ziola of MAPEI Corporation.

The students were Mike Urban, Mike Urban Flooring Inspection; Melissa and Thomas Hoffmeyer, Property Care Hardwood Floors; Patrick McGibbon, Ridgefield Industries; Mark Barret, Barret Hardwood Floors Inc.; and Mark Robson, Central Illinois Flooring LLC.
