The National Wood Floor Association is accepting submissions for its Community Service Awards, which recognize contributions member companies have made in the past year that benefit others.
The deadline to submit a description of the project is February 28. Winners will be announced during the 2015 NWFA Expo, taking place April 28–May 1 in St. Louis.
Past volunteer projects that have won include restoring flooring in historic buildings, donating materials toward housing for families in need, redoing rooms for chronically ill children, and providing materials and labor to rebuild homes for families devastated by natural disasters.
