The Academy of Textiles & Flooring will host a weekend-long course, Introduction to Substrate and Subfloor Inspection (ISSI), in Dalton, Ga., March 28–29.
The course will give participants knowledge about most substrate and imperfections, subfloor/substrate construction, adhesives, leveling and patching, as well as concrete, wood and other underlayments used in the floor covering industry.
Claudia Lezell, founder of Inspections Too Inc., is the lead instructor. There will also be two guest speakers, Ardex America’s Seth Pevarnik and Royal Adhesive’s Sonny Callaham.
The ISSI course is a prerequisite for the Hard Surface Inspector Program course.
