Fortifiber Product Passes California Indoor Air Quality Test

Fortifiber Building Systems Group’s (Fernley, Nev.) Aquabar “B” Hardwood Floor and Tile Underlayment exceeded California’s Section 01350 Indoor Air Quality emissions requirements.

Section 01350 covers environmental and public health considerations for health projects, and includes regulations for VOCs.

Aquabar “B” has a moisture vapor permeance of 0.87. It was previously the first product to earn the National Wood Flooring Association’s “NWFA Accepted” logo for moisture vapor retarders.
