Feyco AG and Treffert Group, owner of Treffert Coatings US Inc. (Charlotte, N.C.), combined brands as of Feb. 1, and are now Feyco Treffert.
Both brands make water-based, solvent and UV-curable coating systems for wood products, including wood flooring. The companies, both within the Looser Holding AG umbrella, are only combining brands. They will still be legally independent.
Feyco AG and its brands Feyco, Wenger, Pentol and Nobs have been a part of Looser Holding AG since 2004. The Treffert Group was acquired by Looser Holding AG in 2004.
The combination of brands gives Feyco Treffert a total of 350 employees at five production sites in Switzerland, Germany, China, Malaysia and the United States, and throughout its global network of dealers and distributors.
