Five members of the National Wood Flooring Association were awarded Best of Surfaces 2015 awards.
The best product of Surfaces 2015, as voted on by attendees, went to Harris Wood/Q.E.P. Co. Inc. (Johnson City, Tenn.) for its Castle Creek white oak flooring, a part of the company’s Aspen Collection.
The best booth design for booths 1,200 square feet or less went to Wickham Hardwood Flooring (Wickham, Quebec).
Mohawk Industries (Dallas) won an innovation award for a cleaning product for carpets.
Johnson Premium Hardwood Flooring (City of Industry, Calif.) received a style and design award for its Alehouse Series of engineered hardwood flooring.
W.F. Taylor Co. (Fontana, Calif.) took home a sustainability award for the company’s TruRenew Premium Bio-Renewable Pressure Sensitive Adhesive.
“The Best of Show awards recognize exceptional companies and true pioneers of products, services, tools and technologies that exhibit not only cutting-edge designs but tried and true products which continue to enhance the industry,” said Amie Gilmore, director of The International Surface Event, in a statement.
