Video: The Fastest Installers at Philadelphia Floor Store’s ‘Nailer Day’

The “Fastest Nailer in the East” is, for the fifth year in a row, Robert O’Connell from O’Connell Custom Concept (Selinsgrove, Pa.).

Contest hosts The Philadelphia Floor Store Inc. (Conshohocken, Pa.) awarded O’Connell with $500 for installing 18 square feet in 2:48.

Second and third place went to Leon Margarite and Mike Moritz, both of Walsh Hardwood Flooring.

Margarite and Mortiz also entered as partners in the contest’s Team Competition. They took home first place. Olde Tyme Hardwood Floors LLC’s team of Micah Mathena and Ron Baker finished in second.

New this year was an Amateur Competition. Paul Lawyer from Maxwell Hardwood Floors (Monticello, Ark.) placed first and was awarded $100.
