Floorcovering Institute of Ontario Incorporates as National Non-Profit

The Floorcovering Institute of Ontario incorporated as a national non-profit organization dedicated to the flooring, cleaning and restoration industries across Canada. Its new name is the Canadian Flooring, Cleaning & Restoration Association.

The move is a continuation of the group’s expansion. It started as a small local group in Toronto in 1962, then it began providing its resources to industries throughout the province of Ontario.

“The Canadian flooring, cleaning and restoration industries stand only to benefit from a single, principled, truly national presence focused on providing the tools, resources and educational forums necessary to progress our industries positively and professionally across the entire country,” said Jason Walker, CFCRA president, in a statement.

The CFCRA’s new website is www.cfcra.ca. The association will also be present on Twitter and LinkedIn.
