Fishman Flooring Solutions (Baltimore) purchased Tri-State Floor Covering Supplies (Cincinnati) to expand its footprint in Ohio and Kentucky.
Key Tri-State staff, including founder Greg McSwain, will join Fishman and be involved with the company’s operations for the foreseeable future. Tri-State’s headquarters and branches in Dayton, Ohio, and Crescent Springs, Ky., will operate under the name Tri-State Fishman Flooring Solutions.
“Acquiring Tri-State, in conjunction with Fishman’s established presence in the Akron, Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo areas, gives our firm a solid base across the entire Ohio market and creates a platform for expanding our business in Kentucky and other nearby states,” said Bob Wagner, president and CEO of Fishman Flooring Solutions, in a statement. “Strategic acquisitions like this are part of our plan for growth, as are building our business organically and expanding our product portfolio.”
