Two seminars were added to the education sessions at the National Wood Flooring Association’s 2015 Wood Flooring Expo, taking place next week in St. Louis.
The seminars are titled, “In the News: Topical Issues Affecting Your Business” and “On the Hill: Political Issues Affecting Your Business.”
“In the News” will cover federal formaldehyde legislation, California Air Resource Board certification requirements and due diligence options, and formaldehyde emissions, testing methodology and limitations. Director of Hardwood, Plywood & Veneer Association Laboratories Brian Sause and HPVA Senior Manager of Certification Programs Josh Hosen will present.
The seminar is scheduled from 10:45–11:45 a.m. on April 30 in room 150/151.
“On the Hill,” presented by Hardwood Federation Executive Director Dana Lee Cole, will discuss the northern long-eared bat and the threat to logging from the bat’s inclusion on the threatened species list, as well as hardwood export programs and forest management and biomass.
The seminar is scheduled from 9:30–10:30 a.m. on April 30 in room 150/151.
