“During his more than 20 years of service to NWFA, 15 of which were on the board of directors, Rick Holden has exhibited integrity, professionalism, humor and humility throughout his career. His dedication to the industry, and to the NWFA, is well above and beyond what is expected of any one person,” said Jeff Fairbanks, chairman of the NWFA.
Holden’s family has operated Derr Flooring for nearly 100 years. Holden was recently interviewed on Executive Leadership Radio, where the hosts asked him how it feels to be a part of a 102-year-old family business.
“If you respect your customers, your employees, your suppliers, then they’ll have respect for you and you can create a long-term business relationship through that chain,” he said during the interview.
