Fire crews were called to 15 Fenmar Drive in Toronto, the address of wood flooring manufacturer Satin Finish Hardwood Flooring Ltd., on Monday to fight a two-alarm fire, according to InsideToronto.com.
Emergency crews were alerted about smoke coming from the property around 2:30 p.m. Fifteen fire trucks were at the scene, and no one was hurt, the newspaper reported.
“The building was evacuated. We upgraded the call to a second alarm,” Toronto Fire Services Capt. Adrian Ratushniak told InsideToronto.com.
The fire was in a silo in the back of the property and in the building’s roof, he said.
The company did not return a call for comment as of press time.
