Karen Durning started K.D. Woods Company in February 2015.
Durning’s background includes 16 years working for The Woods Company, where she began her career right out of college. She told HF in an email that she always knew she wanted to a be a business owner and made her move earlier this year by acquiring The Woods Company’s residential sales segment and marketing assets. The Woods Company will no longer serve the residential market.
K.D. Woods offers prefinished and unfinished flooring with custom textures and finishes, as well as matching stair parts, trim packages and floor vents.
