Aacer Flooring plans to begin building a prefinished line at its Peshtigo, Wis., facility in July, which will increase the company’s manufacturing footprint from 300,000 square feet to 315,000 square feet.
The new line will reach full production in January 2016, the company said in a statement.
Previously, Aacer partnered with an outside vendor to offer prefinished products.
“Bringing a prefinished line on-site has been a long-term goal of Aacer,” said General Manager Ray Webb. “We view this capital investment as a win-win for all—our customers, community and the company.”
