Lumber Liquidators (Taono, Va.), while reeling from accusations made against its laminate products, added eight new stores to its national footprint and remodeled 10 of its existing stores in the first five months of 2015, according to a statement from the company.
The new and remodeled stores are in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee and Virginia.
In total, the company now has more than 355 stores in 46 states and Canada. Currently, a third of Lumber Liquidators’ retail stores have been remodeled to increase showroom size.
"Lumber Liquidators continues expanding its store network to meet consumer demand for quality flooring at great prices,” said founder and acting CEO Tom Sullivan.
