Dona Musolf, wife of Lon Musolf and co-founder of Lon Musolf Distributing, passed away from natural causes on Aug. 11. She was 89 years old.
Dona and her husband founded the business in 1953 and ran it together until retiring in 1996 to their home in Fifty Lakes, Minn. Since the company’s inception, Dona was the secretary and treasurer, working with accounts receivable and collections.
“We owe much of the long-term success of Lon’s to Dona’s guidance and tenacity,” read a statement from the company.
She is survived by her husband, two siblings, two daughters and grandchildren.
Lon Musolf was involved with the National Wood Flooring Association since its inception.
Services will be held Aug. 15 at Faith Lutheran Church in Pine River, Minn. The address is 10973 County Road 1, Pine River, MN 56474.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2 p.m.
