The National Wood Flooring Association held its entry-level school training, Principles of Wood Flooring, Sept. 15-18 at its headquarters in Chesterfield, Mo., near St. Louis.
HF Assistant Editor Andrew Averill enrolled in the school and wrote a recap for days one and two, day three and day four.
Instructor Wayne Lee also wrote a blog post about the four-day school, “It’s All About the Basic … Wood Flooring School.”
Students at the Principles school learn the basics of wood floor installation, sanding and finishing.
