United States floor covering distributor representatives will tour Chinese production facilities as part of the first North American distributor delegation at Domotex Asia/Chinafloor in March.
The U.S. delegates will preview new products and technologies and learn about conducting business with Asian partners, in addition to the facility tours.
The delegate contingent includes Hoy Lanning, senior VP at JJ Haines; Steve Rosenthal, senior VP of sales and marketing at All Tile Inc.; and Theodore Gillgrist, VP of purchasing at William M. Bird & Co., among others.
“I am really excited to visit Domotex Asia/Chinafloor 2016 and see products offered from around the world,” said Lanning in a statement. “I am interested to see Asian manufacturing facilities and the inspection processes while searching for new product opportunities.”
The NWFA will once again host a pavilion in Domotex for American manufacturers. This year the manufacturers at the pavilion are: American Lumber Company (Hamburg, N.Y.), Graf Brothers Flooring & Lumber (South Shore, Ky.), Shamrock Plank Flooring (Memphis, Tenn.), PJ Lumber (Prichard, Ala.) and Robbins Sports Surfaces (Cincinnati).
