The National Wood Flooring Association hosted a four-day long Principles of Wood Flooring school in Anaheim, Calif., April 5–8.

NWFA Regional Instructor Jason Elquest of Blackhawk Floors led the class. He was joined by instructors Jennifer Hansen, 3M; Nick Litwin, Rust-Oleum Corp.; Mark Stokesburg, Bona US; Carrie Cox and Ed Reeves, DuraSeal; Roger Barker and Gary Arnold, Fortifiber Building Systems Group; and John Jarnagin, Bostik Inc.
The students were Santiago Cosentino, Cosentino Wood Flooring; Carlos Garcia, Select Surfaces Inc.; Eddie Gregory, Shaw Industries Inc.; David Hoover, Old World Builders; Anthony James, James Wood Flooring; Gilbert Martinez, Urban Floor; Mitchell Owan, M&D Flooring LLC; Kevin Plumacher, LeBlanc Floors/Pro Home Services; DAndre Tardy, Home Legend LLC; Nicholas Vlahos, Eagle Floor Covering Inspector Service; and Jerome Wilrye, Real Wood Floors.
University-level sponsors—companies that donated $3,500 to NWFA education in 2016—were 3M, Advantech, Bona US, Bostik Inc., DuraSeal, Titebond, Lägler, Loba-Wakol LLC, Middle Tennessee Lumber Co., Primatech Inc., Wagner Meters and Weyerhaeuser Company.
