The newest members of the National Wood Flooring Association board of directors were elected during the 2016 Wood Flooring Expo General Session on April 28 in Charlotte, N.C.
Tommy Maxwell of Maxwell Hardwood Flooring (Monticello, Ark.) was elected as the chairman after serving most recently as the vice chairman. He took over for Jeff Fairbanks, Palo Duro Hardwoods, who became the immediate past chairman. Chris Zizza of C&R Flooring (Westwood, Mass.) became the vice chairman, and Julie Russell of Glitsa, a div. of Rudd Company (Seattle) was elected to serve as treasurer.
Craig Dupra of Installers Warehouse (Rochester, N.Y.) will continue his role as secretary.
The new directors, elected for a three-year term, are Jon Namba, Namba Services; and Dan Natkin, Mannington Mills. Kevin Murphy of Mullican Flooring and John Wooten of CMH Space, a division of Haines, were re-elected to serve as a director.
In addition, the following one-year ex-officio directors were appointed: Steve Brattin, SVB Wood Floor Service; Mitchell Brown, French-Brown Floors; Jim Gould, Floor Covering Institute; Lenny Hall, Endurance Floor Company; Kirk Roberts, Bona US; and Jon Smith, Smith Flooring.
Continuing their terms on the board of directors are Brenda Cashion, Pinnacle Interior Elements and Scott Sandlin, Shaw Industries Inc.
